Ahmed Karam Eldaly
Ahmed received a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt, in June 2011. Afterwards, he was awarded a scholarship from the European Commission to obtain a Erasmus Mundus joint Masters degree in Computer Vision and Robotics (VIBOT) between September 2013 and August 2015. He spent his first semester with Universite de Bourgogne, Le Cresuot, France, second semester with Universitat de Girona, Girona, Spain, third semester with Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, and the final semester with Le2i Laboratory, Universite de Bourgogne, Dijon, France.
Since October 2015, Ahmed has been working towards his PhD with the Institute of Sensors, Signals and Systems (ISSS), part of the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Heriot-Watt University. His PhD work is conducted within the Proteus group. His main role within the project is signal and image analysis.
