Dr Anne Moore
“We want to deliver the first in-man devices that are capable of the dynamic sensing of key physiological and pathological events in the lung and blood of critically ill patients. It is an ambitious project and we will give it everything we have to deliver it.”
Dr Anne Moore is the EPSRC IRC Proteus Project Manager.
Anne has an excellent track record in project management spanning industry and academia. She worked as a Programme Manager for BAE Systems including managing a tri-national development contract for an experimental phased array radar project.
Anne then had what she describes as an early on-set mid-life crisis: where most people buy a sports car or trek across the Himalayas, Anne decided to do a second PhD, this time in molecular plant science.
She then worked as a post-doc on the TiMet Research Programme at The University of Edinburgh. As Project Manager, her main role is to co-ordinate the Proteus research groups.
