“Our Health” features in Teaching Matters blog.
The Teaching Matters blog has the aim of “Promoting, discussing and celebrating teaching at the University of Edinburgh.” Through short, informal blog posts, the idea is to open debate about learning and teaching, share ideas and best practices, and showcase success stories.
A couple of weeks ago, our Public Engagement Strategist, Helen Szoor-McElhinney, had a featured post published, centred on a new Interdisciplinary Health and Wellbeing Science Shop she is co-developing at the University currently titled “Our Health”.
A Science Shop is a small entity that carries out “scientific research in a wide range of disciplines – usually free of charge and – on behalf of citizens and local civil society.”
In the blog, she reveals all about the pilot for Our Health that took place over the summer.
